For the first question, I see two causes. The first one is China population, because there are more than one thousand million people so that permit to generate a lot of economical resources. Then, China productive system is to different in contrast to other countries, because there the people work like 12 hours per day. To say China is going to surpass the USA is difficult to predict because there are other great powers in some regions in the world that maybe change this situation.
I think that the chinese culture model is so successful because it's based on the experience, I mean, they trust in the knowledge of the old men. For example, here in CR the people older than 40 years old can't get a job beacuse they're too old so all this experiencie is wasted. The economical model have been applied for many years and that's how the chinese have increased their power. I really don't think that the chinese will surpass the american market, beacuse as all we know their products aren't of the best quality, compared with americans.
Besides the population,the culture is very important, because chinese people have discipline on what ever they're doing, these means that the combination of their efficiency and pride, makes them to work harder and not to stay with the results the´ve got at the moment, so they can reach the first place, and stay there for many years. These means China is competitive because that they want to be the best.
There's also other world powers that could be the lead one and not only that but also are better than china, however if the US get worst, China could surpass them but not being the leading world power.
Because they have a big workforce, and can make products easier and quicker than other countries. Also counts with technology and resources needed for produce, and the lifestyle and work culture that is so different in US culture.
But I don't think that China will surpass US, because the China's strength is not just innovation or quality, which is very important in US.
They have a lot of interesting things that the rest of the world. They are more hard workers than, for example, the United States citizens, because they stay in the office until two hours later that the check out.
Other interesting things is they are supportive people, when a catastrophe happen all people send money to other people and they don't get all the food that is in the supermarket because they know all people need eat.
All of that and a lot of other things make of the chinese people become the superpower of the world, and of course their mass production.
One of the reasons that have made china the country it is today is their work culture. They are very responsible with their job and their duties. But it have a "dark side" because all of these growing could not be posible without the cheap workforce. China has so many people and a the majority live in poverty which means that any job is a good job for them. This also means that the company keeps almost all the income.
wether it can surpass the United States as a superpower depends in how both countries will work in the next years, but I think that it might be posible. The US has been focused mostly in their military power, and it could be their own destruction. Leaving China as the remaining superpower.
Because they counts with high technology so they may do different things using less time than the other countries, and they have a lot of resources so they may produce without stop.
But, I really do not thing China will surpass the US as the world's leading power, because the quality of their products it is lower than the products of US.

China has one of the biggest populations of the world, and as a consecuence, sources of jobs are limited, that's why many persons accept to work large journeys with really low salaries and many times with unhealthy working conditions.On factories, thanks to this cheap labor, more products are made in a lower time, wich guarantees an increment in earnings. I think this production increment is the main reason of why China emerges as a superpower. I think China has a good chance to surpass the US as the world's leading power, but probably, while the chinese power grows, more and more persons rights will be disrespected.
